How high is the sky?
Allah Ta'ala has promised that Allah Ta'ala will forgive even if it is a sin for such a high sky, Allahu Akbar.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
O you who believe! Repent to Allah with sincere repentance; Hopefully, your Lord will forgive your sins. (Surat at-Tahrim: 6)
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): O children of Adam! As long as you call me and hope for forgiveness from me, no matter what your condition is, I don't care about anyone, and I will forgive you. O children of Adam! If your sin reaches heaven, and you ask me for forgiveness, I will forgive you, I don't care about anyone. O children of Adam! If you meet me with worldly sins and do not associate with me, I will come to you with worldly forgiveness. (Mishkat: 2336)
Just need
1. Repentance is for Allah alone, not for show.
2. Must repent for the crime committed.
3. Must return from the crime committed. If people have a right, it must be returned.
4. Promise never to engage in such activities in the future.
5. Repent as soon as possible. It is as if death comes before repentance!
(Surah At-Tahrim, verse 8, Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Another means of forgiveness of sins is to offer prayers and cry out to Allah and pray for forgiveness of sins.
If a person commits a sin, performs ablution properly, prays two RAKs, and prays to Allah for forgiveness, then Allah forgives him. (Ibn Majah: 1395)
God bless you.
